Durham-based developer Dere Street Homes Ltd’ The Paddock development at Cleasby near Darlington, was highly commended in the Development of the Year category at the LABC ‘The Bricks’ event in London on 15 October.
The awards, hosted by TV star Alexander Armstrong, recognise and reward the exceptional work of registered developers and contractors who go the extra mile, regardless of size, to deliver quality in construction and design. With over 3,000 eligible sites, it is a great achievement to have been shortlisted as one of the 3 finalists.
The Paddock development at Cleasby consisted of just two, five bedroom detached homes and two, four bedroom semi-detached homes in a traditional rural setting.
Sales and Marketing Manager, Marie McQuaid, commented, “We’re obviously delighted to have won this award which is a recognition of quality by our fellow professionals. The homes at the Paddock sold very well and the same high standards of design and construction are still equally applicable at our developments at Hartlepool and Durham.”
The company’s Hill Top Farm development adjacent to Ramside Hall Hotel just outside Durham City, has been receiving rave reviews recently since the stunning five bedroom showhome opened in October. Dere Street are building just 13 farmstead style, detached and semi-detached luxury homes which come complete with one year’s complimentary membership to both the Golf Club and Ramside Hall Hotel’s new Spa and Leisure Club.
Prices for the first phase of homes released for sale start from £425,000 with full details from Jan Gill, on-site Development Sales Manager 07983 080952 or www.derestreethomes.co.uk
