Customer Care over Christmas

Dere Street Homes are now out of office for the Christmas break 20 December 2021 (5pm) – 5 January 2022 (8.30am).

For emergencies ONLY during this period please use the After Build Scheme Out of Hours Facility.

An emergency is: “A sudden and unforeseen incident immediately creating a risk to the health of the Occupant(s) and/ or damage to the property rendering in uninhabitable, insecure or dangerous.”

This definition will be applied to each call received.

Emergency criteria:

  • Electrical mains supply failure (other than when this is a utility company problem);
  • Blocked drain or leak to the foul drainage system;
  • Totally unusable WC;
  • Failure of fitting or lock to door or window;
  • Total failure in the function of heating system or hot water system;
  • Defective fire alarm.

 In the event of any of the above occurring over the Christmas period please call After Build on 0330 1242262.

please note; a charge will apply when a non-emergency call is received.

The After Build Emergency Assistance Scheme covers your home for 2 years from legal completion.

All other emails will be addressed in a timely manner upon our return to the office in the New Year.
