Dere Street Homes are proud to have consistently supported charities from across our region for many years. From one off sponsorship of local sports teams and players to year on year support of our key charities, we believe in giving back to the communities we build and work in.
The Red Sky Foundation is a local charity with a big impact across the North East.
The Red Sky Foundation raise vital funds for babies, children and adults, who are born with or develop heart conditions and who are in need of cardiac care, by providing lifelong support to them and their families.
Whether it’s funding state-of-the-art equipment for our NHS or placing defibrillators and providing training to help save lives, Red Sky Foundation are making a positive impact near you.
Dere Street Homes are long standing supporters of the Red Sky Foundation, whether at their bi annual events or through participation in fundraising activities such as the Coast to Coast cycling event.
Red Sky FoundationWe were delighted to be able to sponsor the Wynyard Under 9’s football team by providing them with a new set of match kits.
New Durham AFC are a local club based in Durham with teams across the age ranges. We were pleased to sponsor the U7s with a new set of match kits and think they look very smart here!
Suubi Africa is a Ugandan village project providing education, clothing, housing and welfare facilities to some of the poorest children and families in Uganda. Initially started after a Ugandan children’s choir visited Durham, the charity has constructed homes for orphans and provides a safe roof, guardianship and education throughout their childhood.
Dere Street Homes has a long history of fundraising and supporting this special charity with annual fundraising dinners as well as staff participation in fundraising events such as the ’60 mile Challenge’ in 2020.
