In normal circumstances a proceedable offer needs to have been accepted against your home before you can reserve a plot. Our Assisted Move* scheme allows you to reserve your chosen plot whilst we assist you in selling your own property. We will obtain an independent valuation of your home and from that valuation we will suggest a realistic price to sell your home as soon as possible. If you agree to this price and wish to proceed, you may then place a hold on your chosen home with just £500. This fee will secure your new home for a specified period of time (to be agreed with your Development Sales Manager)
First Step – Initial Enquiry & Request for Valuations
Visit one of our developments and select a plot you are interested in.
You can complete an Initial Valuation request form with our Development Sales Manager. This will then be sent on to an estate agent to book a valuation of your property with you at your convenience. Photographs may be taken at this appointment. The valuation will be sent back to us to review and discuss with you and to find the best price at which to market your home. If you are not happy with the price then you do not need to go ahead – simple!
Estate Agents
Once we have agreed an asking price you are happy with you can sign an Assisted Move Reservation which holds your chosen plot for the agreed period. You instruct our chosen estate agent to market your home and have photographs taken of your home. This will involve a contract between you and the Estate Agent on a no sale no fee basis at fees which you agree with your agent.
Dealing with your Estate Agents
We will liaise with your agents on a regular basis making sure your property is proactively marketed. In fact, we try to take away the stress of selling, so you can relax knowing you’re in safe hands. The estate agents will of course be in contact with you to arrange convenient viewings of your home with potential buyers.
Accepting an offer
Once an acceptable offer is received you can then go on to fully reserve your beautiful new home. What’s more, we will even reimburse your estate agent’s fees at completion. It couldn’t be simpler and will save you lots of time, money and worry.
If you do not receive an offer on your home in the period then you will receive a partial refund of 50% your Assisted Move Reservation Fee.
